Community-backed campaigns make a real difference.

Our research led us to believe that in order to be successful, we need to secure 10,500 votes in our favour.  Based on past campaigns, it would seem that in order to be competitive, our campaign budget should be in the $80,000.00 range.  This must be totally funded by individual's resident within the province of Ontario and cannot include businesses or organizations of any nature.  As well the maximum donation that an individual can contribute to a city councillors'campaign is $1,200. 00 and while it is not tax deductible, the city offers a generous rebate program for donations over $25.00

Toronto municipal elections are funded entirely through individual contributions. Your donation helps us reach more voters across Toronto Centre and strengthens our ability to engage the community.

To run a successful campaign, we aim to raise a minimum of $80,000 and need to secure at least 10,500 votes based on previous elections.

Ontario residents are eligible for a rebate from the City of Toronto on donations over $25. Donations require your full name, address, province, postal code, email, and telephone number.
